Favorite Airbrush

T82 Omni Sightline (formerly Nailaire)

We LOVE this airbrush because it sprays smoothly, hardly ever clogs, and has in internal paint cup that is super easy to clean. We don't like the new tip and recommend ordering a narrow tip, it's called a #1 Air Cap

FAVORITE STARTER/VALUE AIRBRUSH

Master Airbrush G255 Pro Dual-Action Gravity Feed Airbrush Gun Kit with 3 Nozzle Sets

We like this airbrush because it has 3 sizes of nozzle and fluid tip sets, and we prefer the largest, the 0.5 set. The airbrush sprays smoothly and the larger of the needle sets does not clog easily. An orthodontic-type, angled head tooth brush will help with cleaning the external paint cup.

This airbrush set does not include the hose. This airbrush uses a hose with a 1/8" fitting to the airbrush and the fitting size to the compressor will vary.

FAVORITE AIRBRUSH PAINTS

Createx brand opaque airbrush paints are our favorites. The paint colors are bold and the paint also cleans easily out of the airbrush, which is really important. We use the Opaque colors when available in that color and they also have great fluorescent, metallic, and opalescent colors. Airbrush paint colors are really easy to mix, so it is not necessary to buy a bunch of colors.

AIRBRUSH COMPRESSORS

Size matters when choosing an airbrush compressor. Premium airbrush paints are usually will not work well with small cosmetic-use airbrush compressors.

Any 1/5 hp airbrush compressor will work. [*1/6 hp is less powerful]
